Do I need to be a professional model?
Not at all. Most people I shoot are "everyday" creatives. My job is to direct you—I'll handle the posing, lighting, and angles. You just need to show up
and be yourself; I'll handle the "model" part.
How much does a session cost?
Every project is unique, but we keep it straightforward. We offer flat-rate packages for standard editorials starting at $250 and custom quotes for complex composite work
(like Cosplay or Body Projections).
What is your policy on TFP (Trade for Print)?
I love a good collaboration. If you have a concept that fits my brand—specifically in the Bodyscape, Projection, or High-Fantasy Cosplay realms—I'm
open to trades. Send me a mood board or a detailed pitch and let's see if our visions align. Note: Standard headshots are always paid sessions.
How long does it take to get my photos back?
You'll receive a watermarked "proof gallery" within 48 hours to make your selections. Final retouched images are typically delivered via a private
digital gallery within 14 days. If we're doing heavy composite work, we'll discuss a custom timeline.
Can I bring a friend to my shoot?
Absolutely. I have a strict "Plus One" policy. Whether it's for moral support, help with a costume, or just peace of mind, your guest is welcome on set.
Where do we shoot?
We've moved to a "Location-First" model. While we primarily use Studio Space ATL for our projection and bodyscape work, we select the environment based on the vibe of the shoot.
From industrial lofts to specialized projection studios, we'll pick the best spot for your concept.
What should I wear for a Bodyscape or Projection session?
For Bodyscapes, minimalist or nude is standard to capture the "landscape" of the form, but we can work with sports wear, swim suit, or underware sets as well.
For Projections, like bodyscapes, you have options for nude/topless for the cleanest effect, or to wear pasties and skin toned thong/underware; both options produce great results.
We can have a full wardrobe consultation before your shoot date to address any concerns.
Do you provide the backgrounds for Cosplay?
Yes! As a specialist in In-House Composites, I create the digital environment in post-production. You bring the costume; I'll build the world around you.
How do I book and how does it all work?
It starts with a conversation. Shoot me a message with your concept, and we'll nail down the vibe and location. Once we agree on a vision and a date,
a deposit secures your spot on the calendar. From there, we'll do a digital "pre-game" to discuss wardrobe and prep so you're ready to kill it on set.
Do you edit all of your photographs?
I curate every image you see. Every final photo delivered undergoes a professional "high-end" retouch. This means color grading, skin work,
and—specifically for our Cosplay/Projection work—full artistic manipulation. You're paying for a finished piece of art, not a half-baked file.
Do you do hair and makeup?
I focus strictly on the lens and the light. However, I work with a network of killer HMUAs (Hair & Makeup Artists) in the Atlanta area.
If you need a pro to level up your look, let me know and I can give you a list of trusted creatives to hire for your session.
What should I bring?
Aside from your wardrobe and any specific props, bring a "Main Character" energy. For Bodyscapes or Projections, I'll send you a specific prep
sheet regarding skin care and undergarments. And as always—bring a friend if it makes you feel more comfortable!
Do you also provide video services?
My primary focus is on high-impact stills. However, for certain editorial or cosplay projects, we can discuss "Behind the Scenes" (BTS) content
or short cinematic clips for your Reels/TikTok.
Are my digital files watermarked?
Your final, high-resolution images are not watermarked. They are yours to use, print, and post. I only watermark the "Proof Gallery"—the rough shots you
look at to pick your favorites.
How many pictures will we receive?
Quality over quantity, always. Depending on your package, you'll receive a set number of fully retouched, "magazine-ready" images. I'd rather give you
ten iconic shots that stop a scroll than fifty photos that look just okay. All of our packages advertise how may images are included, and all edits are provided in our collabs.
Who gets to see my photos?
Privacy is a top priority. Your photos are delivered via a private, password-protected gallery. I only share images on my portfolio or social media
with your explicit permission from sessions such as a collaboration or trade for print. If the shoot is private, it stays that way. Every photo on our site and social media have signed releases form the models.
Do we receive the RAW, unedited files?
In short: not normally. To me, a RAW file is an unfinished painting. My work is defined by the final edit and the "Formed by Light" aesthetic. I promise you'll
love the finished product much more than the raw data! That said, everything is negotiable, if you would like RAW files let us know and we can talk.
A New Chapter: Introducing Formed of Light Studio LLC
For years, New Georgian Studios LLC has been my creative home—a place built on the foundations of traditional craft and artistic exploration. But as my work has deepened
into the interplay between the human canvas and digital projection, it's time to separate our photography from our crafts business.
Today, I am proud to announce the launch of Formed of Light Studio LLC, a dedicated photography division focused on the art of transformation.
Formed of Light isn't just a name change; it’s a sharpening of focus. My work in Bodyscapes, Cinematic Cosplay, and Immersive Projection requires a space that reflects the edgier,
editorial, and fine-art nature of these mediums.
- The Experience: We have moved beyond simple portraits. We are creating environments where light becomes your wardrobe and shadow defines your form.
- The Commitment: While the name is new, the artist remains the same. You can expect the same dedication to quality and collaborative spirit that defined my work at New Georgian Studios.
The Move to High-End Spaces
As of 2025, we’ve traded the traditional fixed studio for the freedom of premium, commercial-grade creative spaces. By moving out of our Hapeville location,
we’ve gained the ability to match the environment to the concept.
Our go-to hub for much of our work has been Studio Space ATL, but we regularly scout and rent specialized sets across Atlanta to ensure your visuals have the perfect backdrop. Whether it’s a
minimalist industrial loft or a high-tech projection stage, we go where the art takes us.
