Painting Yourself

Painting Yourself is a composite portrait series exploring the distance between appearance and identity. Together, we build scenes in which you paint, frame, or confront another version of yourself - one shaped by inner truth, outside perception, aspiration, memory, or contradiction.

A woman in a white cropped shirt and gray apron sits on a wooden stool painting on a canvas, depicting another woman reclining on a beige chaise lounge wearing a red dress and red heels, while the model dressed in black leather poses on the chaise facing sideways.
A woman with tattoos sits barefoot on a wooden stool painting a reclining version of herself on a textured canvas, lit softly in a studio with muted tones and fabric draped background.
A barefoot woman in a yellow shirt and black patterned apron sits on a stool painting a canvas showing a reclining woman in a blue dress on a brown-covered couch in a softly lit studio.
Three women dressed in Roman-inspired garments are set in a marble hall; one reclines on a chaise lounge sipping wine, another holds grapes above her, and the third fans her.
A woman in a white dress with angel wings sits on a wooden floor next to a gold-framed mirror adorned with green ivy, reflecting her image in a black lace dress.
A woman reclines on a beige chaise lounge wearing a pink velvet dress and a tiara, while an artist seated to the side paints her portrait on a canvas, depicting her in casual clothes.
A tattooed woman with orange bob hair sits on a stool painting a canvas that depicts the same woman reclining on a couch in a red dress, while the real woman wears casual clothing in softer light.
