Clear answers, before we step into the light
Creative photography should feel exciting, not uncertain. Pricing, privacy, wardrobe, posing, and what to expect on set — it's all here.
Before you book
Do I need to be a professional model?
Not at all. Most people I shoot are "everyday" creatives. My job is to direct you — I'll handle the posing, lighting, and angles. You just need to show up and be yourself; I'll handle the "model" part.
How much does a session cost?
Every project is unique, but we keep it straightforward: flat-rate packages for standard editorials starting at $500, and custom quotes for complex composite work like Cosplay or Body Projections. Each session type on the booking page shows its price and deposit up front. Already know your direction? Explore fine art editorial, bodyscapes, body projection, Living Canvas, or cosplay composites.
How do I book and how does it all work?
Pick a session type and an open slot on the booking calendar — a deposit secures your spot instantly. From there, we'll do a digital "pre-game" to discuss concept, wardrobe, and prep so you're ready to kill it on set.
What happens after I book?
Within a day or two you'll get a confirmation plus a short concept questionnaire. Then comes the pre-game: we lock the mood, wardrobe, and any props or projected imagery, and I send a prep sheet specific to your session type. On the day, you just show up — everything else is handled. Proofs arrive within 48 hours, finals in your private gallery within 14 days.
Do you ever do unpaid creative collaborations?
Yes — I love a good collaboration. If you have a concept that fits the studio's vision — especially Bodyscapes, Projection, or High-Fantasy Cosplay — apply through the Creative Exchange: you bring presence, a model release, and social credit; you leave with retouched, portfolio-grade art. Send a mood board or detailed pitch. (Standard headshots are always paid sessions.)
Can I bring a friend to my shoot?
Absolutely. I have a strict Plus One policy. Whether it's for moral support, help with a costume, or just peace of mind, your guest is welcome on set.
Where do we shoot?
We've moved to a "Location-First" model. While we primarily use Studio Space ATL for projection and bodyscape work, we select the environment based on the vibe of the shoot — from industrial lofts to specialized projection studios.
On set
What should I wear for a Bodyscape or Projection session?
For Bodyscapes, loose arrival clothing matters most so elastic marks do not interrupt the light. For Body Projection, nude-to-you seamless pieces or minimal coverage usually let the projected image land cleanly. For more complete details on how to prepare for your session, read the Bodyscape prep guide, Body Projection prep guide, or Living Canvas prep guide.
What should I bring?
Aside from wardrobe and any props, bring a robe if you have one, simple touch-up items, any planned artwork files, and music that helps you settle into the session. And as always, bring a friend if it makes you more comfortable. For more complete details on how to prepare for your session, start with the Bodyscape, Body Projection, or Living Canvas guide.
Do you do hair and makeup?
I focus strictly on the lens and the light, but I work with a network of killer HMUAs in the Atlanta area. If you want a pro to level up your look, I can share a list of trusted creatives to hire for your session.
Do you provide the backgrounds for Cosplay?
Yes! As a specialist in in-house composites, I create the digital environment in post-production. You bring the costume; I'll build the world around you.
Do you also provide video services?
My primary focus is high-impact stills, but we can do BTS content or short cinematic clips for your Reels/TikTok. Short content videos with body projection and a line or grid pattern can be very trippy and worth the add.
Your photos
How long does it take to get my photos back?
You'll generally receive a watermarked proof gallery within 48 hours to make your selections. Final retouched images are typically delivered via your private gallery within 14 days. Heavy composite work gets a custom timeline.
How many pictures will I receive?
Quality over quantity, always. Depending on your package, you'll receive a set number of fully retouched, magazine-ready images. I'd rather give you five or ten iconic shots that stop a scroll than fifty that look just okay.
Do you edit all of your photographs?
I curate every image you see. Every final photo undergoes a professional high-end retouch — color grading, skin work, and (for Cosplay/Projection) full artistic manipulation. You're paying for a finished piece of art, not a half-baked file.
Who gets to see my photos?
Privacy is a top priority. Your photos are delivered via a private, password-protected gallery. I only share images on my portfolio or social media with your explicit permission. If the shoot is intimate or private, it stays that way.
Are my digital files watermarked?
Your final, high-resolution images are not watermarked. They're yours to use, print, and post. Only the proof gallery — the rough shots you pick favorites from — is watermarked.
Do I receive the RAW, unedited files?
In short: not normally. To me, a RAW file is an unfinished painting. My work is defined by the final edit and the Formed of Light aesthetic. That said — everything is negotiable.
